Just today, I arrived from Mumbai after experiencing it for few days. When ever, i am in Mumbai, I want to sing a song…..
” Jara hatke…Jara Bach ke..Yeh hai bambai meri jaan” ( I dont know exact wordings/lyrics used in the song…!!!). I roamed in Dadar, Mahim, Borivalli, Kandivalli, Andheri, Pedar road, Grant road……and so on via auto rikshaw, bus, train,taxi,feet…..(and mind you, I have spent approximately 900 Rs for the taxi from Borivalli to Bandra, just to keep the time in frame..) but one thing I learnt,in Mumbai is that, the life here,is very stereotype, mechanical, fast and forward..too much selfish, cruel and monotonous !!!!! but i again dont agree with my own view of calling Mumbai a selfish city in some land mark incidents like Local train blasts, terrorist attack on Taj etc. where, people of Mumbai, had shown the strong sense of solidarity, reversal from the grief-y atmosphere and to normalcy even after such a tragic incident of Taj attack!!!!!
So, you can hate, blame Mumbai for any controversy but can’t ignore it!!!! I love the speed of Mumbai but this love is for the people who are sensitive enough, human enough even they are running between the CR, WR tracks !!!!
so keep the pace with Mumbai….
